Expressive Arts Therapy

A Creative Pathway Back to Yourself
This approach invites you to explore your inner world through poetry, photography, visual arts, dramatic play, storytelling, embodied movement, sound exploration, and nature‑based practices. No artistic skill is required—your curiosity and presence are enough. Each session follows your needs in the moment, allowing the process to unfold in a way that feels safe, intuitive, and self‑directed.
Process Over Product
The focus is never on creating something “good” or “beautiful.” What matters is what emerges while you create. The art becomes a companion to your inner experience—something we can reflect on together with curiosity and care. I do not interpret your work; instead, we explore what arises for you, what sensations or emotions surface, and what meaning you discover through the process.
A Body‑Centered, Trauma‑Informed Approach
Sessions may include grounding practices, gentle movement, breath awareness, or time outdoors to support nervous system regulation and embodied presence. This work honours the body as a source of wisdom and acknowledges that healing often begins with reconnecting to sensation, rhythm, and breath.
A Supportive Space
My role is to listen deeply, offer suggestions when helpful, and hold a safe, non‑judgmental space where you can move at your own pace. Together, we follow your lead—tending to your emotional and mental well‑being through creativity, imagination, and embodied awareness.
